Sunny is an older fellow whom we adopted from off the streets in 2008. He enjoys sleeping, watching television and gazing into mirrors. The Cat Food Project began primarily as an attempt to analyze Sunny's dietary preferences as he ages so that we can buy food that fills his furry belly and keeps on the weight.

Portland Wright

Portland is, as they say, an absolute unit. He enjoys roughhousing with his sister Cadi and exploring every surface he can access. Portland is not particularly picky about his food. However, he does have a marked preference for chunky-style wet foods with gloopy sauces versus pates.

Acadia "Cadi" Wright
Female, 11 months 3 weeks old
Acadia, or "Cadi" as she prefers to be called (while responding to neither), is a calico kitty. Extremely shy at first, Cadi has since blossomed into a very loving cat and can often be found lounging on the sofa or chattering at insects through the kitchen window. A dainty eater, Cadi subsists mainly on nibbles of dry food, Churu and vapors. So far we have not found a wet food that she will consistently eat.
